Blogging With Purpose Has Become
Writing With Purpose That Meets Financial Needs

Blogging With Purpose Explained

I saw blogging as ministry, a way to fulfill my God-given purpose of helping people be all they can be, by the grace of God.

In fact, I was a prolific blogger for several years, writing inspirational content about all kinds of topics related to changing careers. The topics I wrote on in conveying my message were hot topics facing those considering career change.

My blogging strategy was to fund ministry through my Christian blogging efforts, writing specifically for the internet to make money through what is called affiliate marketing.

Blogging defined: simply a method of communication, writing snippets of information sequentially, almost a public diary. I eventually experienced blogging burnout and quit blogging, quieting the demands of daily writing.

My New Blogging Strategy

I recently retired from being a hospice chaplain, and I have to say that I have also retired from traditional blogging.

I no longer blog as I once did. Instead I have expanded my concept to writing with purpose, which still has an income producing component to it, which is now funding my new career, that of being a full time Internet Chaplain.

Changing To An Internet Chaplain Career

The career title of internet chaplain may be a new ministry career to some, but the truth is that thousands of people visit my ministry focused websites on a daily basis. Many are seeking counsel as they consider changing career direction.

Yes, I really do earn a living through my ministry website business. That may be shocking to some that I call my business a ministry and my ministry a business.

For me it is just being honest that through writing, I create income streams using the internet while ministering to people, very much a career change with purpose.

Christian Mentor of Internet Marketing

I was just over Jimmy D. Brown's Blog reading how he has done what I am doing though the internet, which is to write info products, practical information that helps people, and yet doing so to fund his ministry.

In these days of economic uncertainty, I have discovered that using the internet can bless people and at the same time provide for my financial needs. Doing so is challenging and exciting, returning the joy of ministry to my weary spirit. I'd recommend that you take a look at my internet mentor's blog. I think you'll really like it. Perhaps you too need to have your ministry career revitalized and would also benefit financially through an internet ministry career.

If so, check out Jimmy's Blog.
