Career Change: Find Yourself Thinking Change

Have you ever had career change thoughts? I not only thought of changing my career, I actually made my own "change career with purpose" decision.
But what about right now, in the present. Perhaps you are wondering about a change of careers and are searching for career change ideas right now.
I created this website because people in my world were sharing their career frustrations with me. Family members, co-workers, clients, and especially burned out pastors would voice their career frustrations, wondering what God's purpose was for their career.
Remember the words "with purpose"? I was purpose-driven in changing my career, seeing that purpose as "helping others be all they can be, by the grace of God.

That God-given purpose, "helping others be all they can be by the grace of God", motivated me to begin this internet ministry website. Frustrated in their careers, so many in my world expressed to me their thoughts of changing careers.
Can You Identify With These Career Changers?
- A discouraged pastor who wonders if he should leave the pastorate, perhaps to become a chaplain like I have done, or make an entirely different career choice. Of course, as many who do this discover, we usually do not leave ministry, we expand it!
- Then there are my "forced out military friends", both with seventeen years under their belt. But now they have received their ultimate marching orders: "Forward, Move!".
- Most concerning to me are my own family members struggling with what career to choose. My own-young-adult children (and nieces and nephews) were so uncertain what to do in life. You'll see their change career stories throughout this website, reflecting many 30 something young adults making change career decisions.
- My wife is an example of an educator who has made a teaching career change but has done so by staying in the education profession.
- I think of a professor who voiced his income frustrations in class one day. His story sounds like that of many teachers with purpose who have chosen a college teaching career.
With kids in college, he expressed needing extra income for financial survival in San Diego. Someday I plan to share with him some income-producing strategies like writing his own ebook textbooks or having his own website.
Discovering Career Change Ideas Within You
When exploring career options, becoming a purpose driven woman or purpose driven man means we are asking questions like these:- What is God's career purpose for me and how do I discover those career plans from the perspective of being purpose driven?
- What career change strategies should I use to discover God's career purpose for my life?
- How do I know what ministry career options I should pursue if I feel called of God to ministry?
- Where is God in all of my career change exploration and how does my faith impact my vocational choice?
- How do I know the will of God for my career and for my life?
Those are usually the thoughts bombarding us as we consider the possibility for career change.
I believe God has gifted us with unique talents and giftings. My concept concerning God's will is that God is already at work all around us, opening doors, closing doors, leading, guiding.
For example, through this website I am fulfilling my God-given purpose, which I see as helping people be all that they can be, by the grace of God!
I would love to fulfill that God given purpose by helping you to change your career, with purpose.
